Interactive Visualization of Cloud/Edge Infrastructures Using Real-time Monitoring Data

Objective: project involves developing a data-driven, role-based visualization system for consolidating, storing, and displaying monitoring data from cloud and edge infrastructures in multi-tenant/-site environments.

Basic Knowledge:

  • Expertise in programming languages (e.g., HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Python, Java).
  • Good understanding of the Linux Operating System (OS).
  • Basic understanding of container management and orchestration platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
  • Good to have experience with data visualization libraries or frameworks. Expected Outcomes:
  • A unified data consolidation and storage strategy for distributed systems.
  • Data APIs to enable flexible access to monitoring data.
  • Interactive, role-based visualizations of p+v+c cloud/edge infrastructures.
  • One conference paper ready for submission.

Note: The scope of the project can be aligned according to the student’s abilities and interests. The description provided here is to get started.
